3 toned hair. Faded grey-brown, orange bangs, and blonde fml.
And then even though I drove myself crazy trying, I realized that I couldn't possibly get the crazy volume the short haired gyaru icons were capable of getting. This is because they still freaking have extensions in their short hair. Mistake #2.
And Mistake #3 should be obvious from the post debuting the two-toned hair. Vertical two-toned is just plain out of season. Honestly, 9 out of 10 times I will not care if something is out of season because I am 1) too lazy to keep up with trends 2) usually broke, but such a huge part of being gal is being a giant trend zombie. So what can you do? If the two toned hair had stayed as fabulous as the first pictures I took of it, then maybe it'd be a different story. But you live and you learn eh?
So without further ado, let me introduce my new horizontal two toned hair I did a week ago! I basically dyed my hair a very light level 5 brown from the bottom of my ears up, and then turned the ends golden blonde. This way, my pre-bleached ends won't soak up nasty colors from the brown dye. Convenient and trendy, no? I started the brown half pretty high up so it has "space" to grow out nicely. ^____^ I also bought 18" blonde extensions to play with, and dyed the set accordingly to match my real hair.

My hair still looks lovely even after a week of shampooing and such. The brown half is so lustrous and pretty, and the two-toned is so gradual but still gives a little something extra. A giant bonus is that my eyebrows match better hahahaha. It's very possible that the light brown will fade some into a dirty blonde, but my hair will still look pretty good...mostly intentional at least. And redoing roots will be very easy from now on!! KEEPING THIS FOR SURE! I'm super proud of how the extensions look too, I made the clip ins myself and a lot of people asked if I got the extensions professionally done. My extensions attempt before was terrible compared to this!
And of course, I HAD to try out curling my hair to get the classic big hair look. The downside to curling horizontal two-toned hair is that the two-toned aspect is a lot less prominent as opposed to when it's straight, but what girl doesn't love her curling iron?

(Sorry my eyebrows look like a hot mess, it was really hot today and my makeup was sweating off since I ran out of primer -__-)
I'm so happy I have extensions again, there's just something to be said about having foxy long hair hahaha.
Sorry for the short update, I'll be writing a post about my giant Dream V/Yumetenbo
order soon from Rakuten! The outfit that I'm wearing in the above camwhore pictures is actually from my order!
I still have a lot to learn about perfecting the gyaru style, but it's been an educational journey so far. I'm slowly getting better at the hair and make up!
